On Monday, April 8th 2024, Ryan Gilliam won the endorsement of the members of the Republican Party of Virginia Beach.

This is the first time in many years the Republican Party of Virginia Beach has voted to endorse candidates in citywide Mayoral, Council and School Board elections.
