Why Your Vote Matters
Voting in National Elections is important, but the "down-ticket" races for City Council and School Board are the elections for candidates that have the most direct and immediate impact on your day-to-day life.
These are races that will determine the future of our schools, roads, local tax policies and other important "quality of life" issues.

In more recent times, campaigns have been decided by only a handful of votes and the closer to you the government office is, the more your vote matters!
